Unfortunately there are a few items that will always be reserved to the main raiding guild, unless the guild has them already. And it's not extreme for them to do so. Now that is not the majority of items, it is like 1% or less of drops, but it's well understood that you don't let a random take, say, a piece of Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker. Or Onyxia's Head. These are things that can make a truly massive difference to a raid team, so it doesn't make sense to let just anyone take

I also think studios don't understand the impact of the original "drop event" that catapulted tarkov into relevancy. That type of event isn't allowed any more and changed the streaming landscape for drops
