the AI's accuracy works on a cone system. The longer they have to stare at you and shoot, the narrower that cone becomes. With Scavs it take about 10 seconds for them to start lasering you at range. PMCs that time drops to about 3 to 5 seconds.

Lets still look a bit from the balance perspective. If the neck hitbox would not exist. Means, if you are late in wipe. You would technically need to be leg meta. As otherwise your timmy ammo could not destroy players wearing zabralo + alytn. Zabralo + alytn players still have to be killable by somebody who is 40 levels lower.
